St. John the Baptist Parish - Parish President Jaclyn Hotard has been chosen to serve on the Transportation and Infrastructure Task Force as part of Governor John Bel Edward’s Resilient Louisiana Commission.

The committee, led by DOTD Secretary Shawn D. Wilson, will examine the impacts of COVID-19 to the state’s infrastructure system while creating meaningful discussion, ideas and a path forward. The goal is to work together to build a better and more resilient transportation network that will propel economic prosperity.

"I am honored to have been selected to the Governor’s task force and will work alongside the other committee members to provide solid information and suggestions," Hotard said. "Serving on this committee will allow me to have a seat at the table and engage in important conversations about improving Louisiana, and St. John, not only during this crisis but for many years to come.”
