Parish President Hotard Hosts Breakfast to Kickoff Economic Development Week

 

Parish President Jaclyn Hotard joined by Port of South Louisiana Chief Executive Officer Paul Mathews welcomed Louisiana Economic Development Secretary, Susan Bourgeois, Michael Hecht, President/CEO of Greater New Orleans, Inc. (GNO, Inc.),many officials, stakeholders, and guests, at the St. John Parish Economic Development Week Kickoff Breakfast at the Port Headquarters on Monday.

 

Secretary Bourgeois and Michael Hecht served as the guest speakers for the event highlighting the importance of economic development locally and statewide. Representatives from local and federal delegation were also in attendance.

 

“We couldn’t have asked for a better turnout to kick off ED week,” said Parish President Hotard. “During this week, we hope to further educate, recognize, and promote economic development and the impact of our small businesses and organizations in St. John Parish.” ###
