Governor Edwards Reinstates Mask Mandate for Louisiana

Governor John Bel Edwards announced that he is reinstating Louisiana’s statewide mask mandate indoors for all people ages 5+ (vaccinated and unvaccinated) unless the individual meets an exemption as outlined in the full order.

The mask mandate is effective this Wednesday, August 4, 2021, through at least Wednesday, September 1, 2021.
