Please see the latest on winter weather in St. John Parish.

 

Utilities: As water systems slowly rebuild pressure,  it’s important that residents to continue to conserve water and limit non essential use all day. We are asking residents to continue to report leaks to 985-652-6338.

 

Power: Per Entergy, all customers have been restored from Winter Weather. 

 

Roads: 

Interstates to and from the Parish remain closed however Airline, River Road, the Low Road on Highway 51, Veterans Memorial Bridge, and Hale Boggs Bridge, remain open but expect traffic delays. The latest is on 511la.org

 

Garbage: Waste Pro will collect normal Friday routes today on the East Bank .  West Bank Friday routes and West Bank normal Saturday routes will be collected tomorrow. The East Bank normal Saturday route will also be collected tomorrow.

 

Businesses:   GOHSEP is asking businesses impacted by this week's historic snow to fill out the form at the link and return it today to Allison Hadley, GOHSEP Director of Recovery at Allison.Saari@la.gov

 

This will help GOHSEP determine if assistance is needed statewide from the SBA.
