18th Annual Veterans Luncheon

Parish President Jaclyn Hotard and staff, Council Members, Local, State and Federal Elected Officials, and special guests joined hundreds of Veterans and their spouses at the 18th Annual Veterans Luncheon held at REGALA Gym in Reserve.

The event paid homage to veterans and service members with a video tribute and featured performances by the Victory Belles and Gabrielle Treas. General David Mize, U.S. Marine Corps, Major General served as the guest speaker.

Veterans also received a pin signifying the branch of military in which they served.

“These past few years through COVID, and then Hurricane Ida, have altered the way in which we have had to celebrate our Veterans, but it feels good today to all be together on the eve of our nation’s birthday honoring our local heroes.” said Parish President Hotard. “We hope everyone has a happy and blessed Fourth of July.”
